The expert that I have chosen was already a mentor for me in the past and the skills he taught me was leadership, UI, and UX with website development. Along with that I learned many other things like learning how to make connections and put myself out there to get a good job. I was also taught a little bit about the interview process with a huge company. This expert’s name is Ty Griffin. He’s a UX executive with 20+ years of experience leading high-performing design organizations and transforming enterprise platforms into intuitive, scalable, and business-accelerating experiences. Today, he serves as Head of UX Strategy, Research & Design for Alkami. I met him in my neighborhood. He lived down the road from me and my dad would always talk to him about my interest in computers. My dad being ex-military would always think about me far into the future and he was committed to figure out what my interests were and what even my goals later in life could be. He decided to use Ty’s help to see if he could find the skill and help make use of it and highlight it since im always on the computer. Ty then took me in as a Student and taught me the basics of UI/UX in high school which over time advanced and when I graduated I had high knowledge of Websites. The reason this ties in with my information is because my future plan is to be a IT Manager or be a Web Developer in hopes to manage a team one day. Ty does exactly that plus more. With his two decades of experience he has a significant amount of knowledge to coach many different parts of the IT world.
