While reflecting on my group project I must start off with saying. I am normally not the biggest fan of group projects because I always get paired with lazy group members. For this particular project I was grouped with individuals who did good quality work and that made me feel a lot more comfortable. The first best thing that happened while doing our work process was how well we communicated in the first Zoom call. We were able to plan out the timeline, talk about how we will prepare for part 2 of the project and any teammates that were unsure on something made sure to ask everyone else their thoughts and be sure to clarify before just doing something. Secondly, as the Team leader I would make sure that everything looked good before we submitted. Almost every time I looked over our work as a group, it exceeded my expectations. My favorite part was the last bit where we had to create a video and upload it to YouTube. We planned out what content our slides would have ahead of time and executed the presentation very well and got it done earlier than expected.
Now on the worst performing parts. I feel that for the most part we would figure things out but if we were all unsure of something we would think about reaching out to the Professor to clarify but most of the time we set our days of working on assignments to be on Friday or Saturday which is when most professors are away from their emails. This caused us to have a bit of delay on some parts of our work but we were able to figure it out and continue through. During this project, time management was extremely important and I did everything I could to make sure we wouldn’t slack and fall behind and we didn’t thankfully.
